What is Extended Email?
Extended Email is a privacy-focused email service currently in development. It is being designed around separate email aliases, a core inbox, and controls for managing or disabling individual addresses.
What is an email alias?
An email alias is an alternate address you can give to a website or service instead of reusing the same primary email address everywhere.
Why would I use a different email address for each service?
Separate addresses can reduce reuse of your primary address, make account relationships easier to identify, and give you a way to contain unwanted email without replacing your main inbox.
Can I disable an alias?
Address-level disabling is part of the intended Extended Email product design. The final launch feature set may evolve during development.
Does an email alias make me anonymous?
No. An alias can reduce exposure of a primary address, but it does not make you anonymous and does not prevent a website from collecting other information you provide.
When is Extended Email launching?
Extended Email is currently planned for December 2026.
